Football & Me

Football. Always in the news. Always on TV. If you have a television, you can watch football. Sometimes it feels like the whole freaking world is based on football. Is 'Manchester United' their religion, and 'Ole Gunnar Solskjaer' their god? I'm actually impressed that Fox managed to put in the president election before football.

For most football supporters, the general reaction when their team scores is;
"YEEEES!!! IN YOUR FACE MOTHER F*blip*ERS!! AHHH!!!!"
Of course, we also have the reaction when their team loses, or their favorite player gets a red card;
"WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS?!" *Beer Bottle + TV*
Do they even know how stupid they look? Running around, colored like the rainbow, chasing after a ball, trying to shoot it in the opposite teams nett. People trying to catch a pig looks somewhat the same. And not to mention the supporters that look little birds waiting for their mommy to feed them..

Quickly Photoshopped for your viewing pleasure

I mean.. Whats the point? And how bored do you have to actually be to come up with something like this?

"Ok, guys. I've come up with this extremly fun game. Take those six stick and the fishnet over there. Now take the sticks and form a square and attach the fishnet to it. Then take this bag and fill it with air. Good. Now.. RUN AFTER THE BAG! Ok! Now KICK the bag! Kick it again! AGAIN! Shoot it into the fishnet! Into the fishnet, John! INTO THE..!"

TL;DR:

Running after a ball:  Ok..
22 guys running after a ball: Right, ok. I can roll with that. Its group-exercise, right?..
22 guys running after a ball while millions are watching: Wha...
22 guys running after a ball while millions are watching and people are betting all their money on 22 guys running after a ball while millions are watching: ..........

So.. What I actually think is:
Football is a good way to waste time and money. I'm sure its other sports worse than football, but its football that "gets me".

Take care! (Yes, I had too!)

Okay I understand your argument, however take this into account. (I think of shit like this all the time)

You're a person sitting on a thing that was made by you (or another identical organism) to bend your body in order to achieve a more 'comfortable' structure. Not only are you doing this but you are moving your 'fingers' on pieces of plastic to rearrange tiny particles of ink in order to gain more pieces of ink. These particles of ink decided whether or not you have a 'mindset' of happiness or another similar 'emotion'.

What I'm trying to say is, when you think about things, everything is stupid.

How can you say chasing a physical ball around is more stupid than rearranging pieces of ink?

First of all Footy, I truly hope you didn't get offended by this post. It's only for teh lulz :)

And I know everything can be written in a way that it appears stupid. How you react to this post is mainly a matter of interest. It's also a joke :)

"I'm sure its other sports worse than football, but its football that "gets me"." - Mainly made this because it sometimes feels the world revolves around football, and football only. Ever turned on the TV to watch your favorite show, just to notice it's been moved 6 hours because they're gonna do a "Best Goals from Zimbabwe - 07" marathon? :)

That was my source of inspiration anyways.

Football involves feet, and not running around with it in your arms. Sadly, the nation is mistaken ;) In Norway what you call soccer is 'Football', and what you call football is 'American Football'. Americans are horrible at naming their sports though. There's hardly any feet involved!
