So it appears that Riot Games Inc. finally got some more resources to develop, grow and support League of Legends and it's users. It also says that Tencent Holdings Limited has acquired a majority stake in the company, which pretty much, in my eyes, means that Riot Games Inc. just got bought up by the Chinese. It's at least somewhat comforting that they state their headquarters will remain in the same location as ever, they will keep their independent operations and their existing management team will continue to lead all aspects of the company. No financial terms are released as far as I know.

“This is exciting news for 'League of Legends' players and the existing Riot Games team,” said Brandon Beck, CEO, Riot Games. “Tencent's investment will provide our talented team of designers, developers and community staff with additional resources to focus on innovating around ‘League of Legends’ and launching new projects that push the boundaries in the gaming space.”
It's good to know that Riot Games Inc. got their hands on some hard cash, and they also state that it will, and I quote; "Will provide our talented team of designers, developers and community staff with additional resources to focus on innovating around 'League of Legends' and launching new projects that push the boundaries in the gaming space".
Now.. Considering their long list of false promises, like the unplanned maintenances to "increase server stability", I am left skeptical to the entire statement. What will the prioritize first? Increasing server stability, better game engine, removal of Adobe AIR or perhaps release of new champions and in-game content, or will they just blow it all away and start on a new, blank project instantly?
I personally truly hope they will prioritize server stability, closely followed by the removal of Adobe AIR, which hopefully would result in a nice, lag-free, stand-alone launcher. Who wouldn't love to get in a game with the correct masteries and runes for once?
If every single statement in this article is true, I believe we soon got an entire new and better League of Legends available for patching. And yes; It's truly a dream come true!
So what do you guys think? A bucket of false promises, or something we should look forward too? Also; Is there anything I missed in the article that I should put up for discussion?

Sounds good as long as the same people keep designing but they use Tencent for more resources as far as servers go... I am kind've afraid they will start charging in some form (most likely a flat fee to buy the game) but at the same time I think that it's not very likely.
A big change for LoL! Hopefully in the right direction!
uh oh. people are going to start "QQ"
