Guide Spotlight - SxR's In-Depth Look to Udyr

http://www.mobafire.com/league-of-legends/build/sxrs-in-depth-look-to-udyr-56684

All I can say is... "Wow." I did not expect such a truly fantastic guide when I clicked on this in the new builds section of Mobafire. The title holds true as this guide is EXTREMELY in depth. The author includes 5 builds for different ways to play udyr (phoenix dps soak, tiger dps soak, duality dps soak, tiger tank, phoenix tank), and on top of the builds he also has videos of his jungle routes as each build. He also discusses pros/cons to Triforce building, Ganking, Covering lanes, Survival Tips, Tanking Tips, DPSing tips, etc.

Look, I know there's already some really good Udyr guides out there, but this fulfills a lot of questions / methods untouched by other guides. It deserves a high rank. I'm not saying it's the best out there but it should definitely be up there for more players to see. I am sad it's not getting any love because the current top guide on Mobafire happens to be an Udyr guide, and this guide truly deserves our attention and respect

So please, give this build some love and attention. The author put so much work into it, and it shows. If you are trying to improve your Udyr (or even if you main Udyr!) it is a must-read.

Guide Spotlight - Gangplank

Heat n Serve's advanced Gangplank guide

So personally I have always had trouble doing well with Gangplank and fitting in with the team composition, but I love playing him since he's so fun! Well I found this guide browsing through the newest guides section on Mobafire and it is an import from Leaguecraft. So far it has gotten no love, but I read it and thought it was pretty great

One thing it does a great job of doing is highlighting what roles you should fulfill and what you shouldn't. These guide writers believe Gangplank should not carry and should be more of a supporting character, and they give VERY good reasons why. I hope people will find this guide as helpful as I did, and that it will help them get better with Gangplank. Especially since he's free this week! :)

Good luck and have fun! Always feel free to suggest guides you feel need more love

Mowen - Raging about Raging

So, I know when we play League of Legends and we aren't in a premade, a lot of times you will get a horrible team. Yes, it sucks. Yes, it isn't fun. But you know what? Raging doesn't help!

When you throw on your cruise control for cool (that would be CAPSLOCK) and start yelling at the Warwick about how he should be ganking your lane because these noobs are pushing your turret and that he's a noob for not being 6 yet... Guess what? Do you think if YOU were Warwick you would want to help that douchebag yelling at you for no reason? NO! In fact you'd probably rather help gank the other lanes that aren't yelling at you and telling you how to play.

This is what you SHOULD say: "Warwick, when you hit 6 please come gank my lane, they are way overextended and it'll be ezmode!" and the the Warwick goes "kk! :D"

You're happy, Warwick's happy, you get kills, your team has better unity, and believe me, team unity is important. A team that doesn't like eachother isn't going to work together very well. Your teammates will let you die when you're in a bind instead of trying to help you if they don't like you. So even when you're not in a premade, guess what? You should still be polite and respectful to your teammates! I can't tell you how many times someone has ruined a game for me because they whine and complain that no one picked a tank or we all picked casters or we're noobs for not letting him mid, WHATEVER! This dampens the mood for everyone, and will give you a bad start. Your team will not feel confident because you are instilling a feeling of worry in them. You should instead say "Well since we have all casters we should focus on early game and try to win early, because if we don't they will overcome us." This provides them with information that is helpful and does it in a way where it will keep morale high since you have told them a way to still win the game with this team composition.

Even if it is late game you still shouldn't rage even if you think you will probably lose. I've seen many huge turnarounds in games that you could've never expected, and when you cause anger between the team this is much less likely to happen because your team won't want to stick together and fight as a team.

So remember kids, be all like ":D" not like ">:O"!
